Sue and Bob have just a few amateur antennas around their
place of residence. From the lowest,
up we have a ful sized G5RV supported in the center at 45 feet . The
ends are aproximately 18
feet of the ground. This wire antenna is 51 feet on each
side for a total of near 102 feet over all
leingth. We have it configured as an inverted "V".
Also at the 45 foot level we have two quarter wave ground plane antennas.
One is tuned for seventy
centimeters and the other is used in the two meter band. Both of
these are home made. The only
changes I have made is they keep getting higher on the tower.
Up at the fifty foot mark is a Mosley TA-33 tri-band beam. This
beam is tuned for the voice portions
of 10, 15, and 20 meters but with a tuner, I think we can strech a bit.
