                    The Jackalope, Jack-a-lope, Jackalope, Jackolope, Jack-o-lope
                               or Jackalop is North America's rarest animal.

     From the information I have, the WYOMING JACKALOPE NET was founded in 1951
     by Albert (Hal)  De Bacco W7YJG , his wife Evelyn then W7YWY, Carter and Betty Ross
     W7DW and W7IDO.   There have been several net control operators since. Among these
     have been Paul Love (call WA0PFJ later he changed it to NN0C) and Monty Norris W7ILL.
     Frank Moore WB7FFK who passed away earlier was a long standing  Jackalope net manager.  
     We will miss Frank's warm and gentle sense of humor.
     Margeret Cogdill   K7VWA also ran the net at one time
     Bob Meyer W7BLM can be heard doing the net from time to time.

       The WYOMING JACKALOPE NET is held Monday through Saturday on or near 7.260
       Mhz at 12:15 local time. This is NOT a directed net, we are very laid back and informal.
       There are occasional pile ups so please be PATIENT and keep trying.  73
